With June comes the Culture Festival and invites us to wonderful early summer experiences.

The festival takes place 1-9. June throughout Asker municipality.

Asker cultural festival offers something for everyone – of all ages. Here, there are opportunities for good meetings and experiences across generations. And best of all – most of it is free!

How about learning how to turn waste into gold with the Omattatt recycling workshop, or try your hand at an instrument at the cultural school's open day? You can shake it off at various dance workshops for both young and old, or join in the rhythms during a concert with Jostein on the outdoor stage at Asker cultural center.

These days offer great musical experiences when the concerts are lined up. You can also get to know Erik Bye's history and shows better, or take part in a jazz fair in Østenstad church.

We are hoping for good weather as a setting for outdoor events such as Coastal Culture Night at Selvikvillaen, Historical noise in the garden at Hovtun and Spikkestad day when Spikkestad celebrates its 100th anniversary. If there are a few drops of rain, it is still useful to join a gathering course on edible plants in Åros.
