Environmentally Certified Hotels

To become environmentally certified, hotels must meet strict requirements for everything from environmentally friendly operations to waste management, water and sewage treatment, energy use, and the selection of suppliers that are also environmentally friendly.

Camping

As an alternative accommodation, it is recommended to sleep in a hammock, either in Frognmarka or along the coast. Frogn has a lot of wilderness that is well-suited for outdoor overnight stays.

Håøya is also a very nice camping site where you can stay for a maximum of five days.

A well-known hammock beach along the coastal trail from Skiphelle to Ramme gård is Kjeppestadbukta. There are several trees close to the beach for setting up hammocks.
